Hi, I’m Lucy Treasure, and I’m so glad you’re here reading this. A little bit about me: I grew up in Aberdeen and was an active child who loved dance and sport, never shying away from PE.

At university, that love of movement was overshadowed by the overwhelm of “adult life" and exercise stopped feeling fun — I avoided it altogether.

After COVID, something shifted. I wanted more vitality, to challenge myself, and to rediscover the joy I once felt in moving my body. I joined a small private gym, learned to lift with the support of incredible trainers, and over time fell back in love with movement.

Since then, I’ve invested in learning about nutrition, mindset, and showing kindness to the body that has carried me this far. Working with inspiring personal trainers as a client showed me the powerful impact of support and guidance, and I began to feel the pull to do more with this passion. I wanted to use the skills from my full-time student support work in a new way and help others.

This led me to begin working toward my Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification, which I hope to complete by summer 2026. As I build alongside my current role, I’ll be starting with a small group of online clients — bringing together my skills, experiences, and growing capacity as a coach. I can’t wait to get started!

My training ethos

Treasured Strength Personal Training and Coaching is grounded in the principals of longevity, joy and connection, and promotes a holistic approach to health and lifestyle that goes beyond the gym floor. My training ethos is focused on supporting clients to realise and tap into their inner strength, allowing clients to discover the amazing things that they and their body are capable of.  It values the body and has a focus on caring for it to support a long and fulfilling life.

I’m especially passionate about working with people who may never have seen personal training as something for them. Coaching isn’t only for those already exercising regularly — it can also support people who face barriers to movement, including gym anxiety, negative past experiences in fitness environments, or limited access to facilities.

Or maybe you just feel there’s more in you and want someone to help you uncover your strengths.

Why me?

Although new to Personal Training, I have had a successful professional career in support and leadership roles, and my favorite part of these roles has been coaching others towards their goals, tailoring the approaches used for each individual.

What do I mean by "coaching"? How is that different from training? Click below to read more about what coaching is and why I'm so passionate about this approach.
